In case you don’t know us, we are TechSoup: a one-stop resource for technology needs by providing free information, resources, and support. This Donate Your Brain channel provides you tech experts with the opportunity to help nonprofit staff members with their tech questions, by making it easy for you to solve end-user problems that should only take you a few keystrokes to answer, (but would otherwise take a good chunk of time to track down a solution). We know you have specific insight into these tech questions, and we would love for you to share your dazzling expertise with our nonprofit community.
We created this feed to give you an edited, easy and quick path to the nonprofit community’s tech questions. This RSS feed gathers together questions, asked by nonprofit staff members about specific technology products, applications, and configurations that come up on TechSoup forums and related sites. Only questions that are likely to have quick and easy answers are selected from the TechSoup forums (and other outside sources) and included in the feed.
Please note that we are only using this blog to provide an RSS feed to you, as a channel or a one-way communication from us to you. We wanted to create a channel for these select questions from the nonprofit community for you, the uber-geeky elite, here, for you to subscribe to via your RSS reader.
To get started, just add the Donate Your Brain feed to your RSS feeder.
You can decide how much of your brain you want to donate.
When you see a question that interests you, we ask that you respond to it by clicking the “Answer it here” link. You will then be magically teleported to the TechSoup forums or another outside related site. Please do not try to respond to the posts on this blog, because there is simply no way to do this; and that would be very frustrating for you.
In order to respond to these questions, you will need to register for TechSoup.org or the other site that we direct you to. Don’t worry, this will be a quick, free and easy process. We won’t be selling you to any spammers, we promise!
