This TechSoup user is having a disconnect—literally! The user’s Linksys wireless router is hooked up directly to the modem. All lights indicate that the router is working properly.
There are two computers with wireless cards.One is a desktop and connects to the router with no problems. The second is a laptop with a Linksys card that won’t connect. It hangs and reads, “Not connected.” Despite this message, it does allow the user to browse the internet for a few minutes, but then disconnects.
